Our Story

Our Vision - To be there for anyone affected by Cancer with free holistic therapies and support for them and their families.

Cancer, the word none of us want to hear, at 31 our Founder Jo Sutherland was diagnosed with Cancer, it was a life changing moment. Cancer changes who you are, it affects your mind, body and soul, but I found Holistic Therapies, it helped me so much I retrained as a Holistic Therapies. I wanted other people going through a difficult time to be able to access Holistic Therapies for free, help them see that they can Live well with Cancer and beyond with a little help. In March 2014 Charlies was born offering a monthly support group for anyone affected by Cancer. People living with cancer, in remission, carer’s, family and friends all welcome. We provided a wide range of holistic therapies, friendship and support, with the support of Paul Mount offering a free room and location. Due to demand we out grew our location and in March 2016 and thanks again to the support of Paul we moved into Unit 2, Madleaze Road in Gloucester. Open 3 days a week offering a range of free Holistic Therapies, such as Meditation, Reiki, Reflexology, Shiastu, Massage, plus Exercise classes such as Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi, Art Therapy, 1:1 Support, and of course a friendly place where people can be themselves.
